Who We Are

Our practice is guided by three core pillars:

1. Real Solutions for Real Businesses — We distinguish between technologies with staying power and short-term hype. Every recommendation we make must pass a single test: does this compound in value over time? If it doesn't, we won't build it.

3. Computational Linguistics for Human Prosperity — We believe that technology is humanity's greatest hope for achieving abundance, and that language is our greatest technology. We conduct computational linguistics research to ensure our tools stay ahead of the curve.

On the Name

The name Type-3 Studio comes from the Kardashev Scale — a method of measuring a civilization's technological advancement based on its energy consumption. A Type 3 civilization has mastered energy across an entire galaxy. Humans currently hover around Type 0.7. We call ourselves Type-3 Studio not because we claim to have arrived, but because it is what we aim for.
